IPM facilitates the analysis and improvement of core business processes to identify the value stream(s) which are critical to meeting your customers' requirements and realizing strategic organizational goals. A typical improvement event spans seven weeks from prework to wrap-up. IPM works closely with a functional leader from the business to understand and map the current state value stream. Over a 3 to 5 day period frontline employees (i.e. "doers") participate in identifying and implementing LEAN improvement ideas. At the end of the event, improvements will be implemented, results quantified and communicated, and control systems in place to sustain the improvements.
